Problogger Special Event: Food and Wine

wp content uploads header Problogger Special Event: Food and Wine

Darren Rowse, aka ProBlogger, is a huge internet/blogging celebrity in Melbourne (and in fact, the world!) so I was thrilled to be asked to participate in a special ProBlogger event with a special focus on food and wine bloggers.

For one night only, you get to hear from Darren Rowse, chef Shane Delia of Maha Bar and Grill and St Katherine’s, food journalist Hilary McNevin, wine writer Dan Sims and little ol’ me.

Each of the speakers will talk about blogging, writing, food and wine from their various perspectives, with a panel discussion at the end to open the forum up to your questions. Not only will you hear from the presenters, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with 100 other Melbourne foodies while enjoying a delicious three-course meal (including matched wines if you want). It’ll be fun!

Tickets for this event are limited, so register to reserve a spot for you and your friends (max 4 tickets available per person). A representative of Maha will make contact with you to confirm your payment details once you have reserved your seat via Eventbrite.

Event details:

  • Date: Tuesday 17 July 2012
  • Time: 6pm arrival
  • VenueMaha, 21 Bond St, Melbourne
  • Inclusions: Event ticket with three-course meal and wine matching (served on communal tables)
  • Cost: $90 per person without wine, $120 per person with wine

  2. Unfortunately we missed that event but one thing is for sure that blogging has become so powerful nowadays. One can find every topic of life and take full benefit of it. Indeed we need some great bloggers covering food and wine topis along with several other perspectives of life. Any idea where the next event is going to be held in Australia?
