MEL: HOT OR NOT is the decisive guide to Melbourne, but it’s also a diary for myself, my family and friends, detailing all of my comings and goings in my home town.
So it feels a bit strange to post a restaurant critique, a film review or an interview at the moment – as tomorrow is my wedding day. I’m going to have a new husband and a new name! I’m excited, nervous and feeling a little bit hyperactive and I just hope that the day goes smoothly for everyone.
And if you happen to see me flitting around the city in a long white strapless dress and the most expensive shoes I’ve ever owned, wave hello!
As for the blog, service will resume as per usual on Monday :–)

So excited for you and Tim tomorrow. Have had this date in the trusty iPhone calendar since you told me the date months ago when I first met you! The day will be fabulous, just enjoy and let everyone else worry about worrying about the day running to perfection because it will be stunning.

We had a great day! I was terribly nervous when I woke up at 3:30am (!) with a million thoughts running through my head but the day relaxed into a fun catch up with my friends and family in beautiful Melbourne.

My favourite place for eveningwear/cocktail dresses is Stellini in Howey Place, off Little Collins Street. It’s also the place I got my wedding dress, which was a simple strapless white affair. As for the shoes, the ones in the picture are Christian Louboutin, exclusively stocked by net-a-porter.com.
