  1. Every end-of-year I imagine a fabulous bake up of goodies but it never seems to happen. Those La Madre treats look amazing – maybe the inspiration I need.

  2. Wow, this looks fantastic, I’d love to win! And I’m checking out their stockists to see where I can get some for myself if I don’t win!

I cannot tell a lie – when I saw ‘Parmesan and nigella shortbread’, I had a giggle at the thought of Nigella Lawson flavoured shortbread. Then I remembered nigella is the name of a spice. *blushes*

  3. I was going to say that I would put the edible ornaments on my Christmas tree. But since I don’t have one, they have to hang out in my stomach. Yum!

  4. Last year i bought some gingerbread xmas ornaments for my 2 and a half yr old nephew Oli to put on the xmas tree..he loved eating them! My sister just phoned me today to say they were decorating the tree and Oli asked where the men were to put on the tree. The ones aunty bee had. Amazed and so chuffed he remembered, i’m now on the hunt for gingerbread ornaments. This one’s for Oli!

  5. reverse psychology:
no, i don’t want them. in fact, i have nightmares about receiving such things, and told my therapist about you. every fat, sugar and carb filled bite is sending me on a rollercoaster to hell.

  6. So my two and a half year old nephew Oli was decorating the xmas tree yesterday and says to his mum “where are the men to put on the xmas tree”. Dumbfounded with what he meant for a while, she worked out it was some gingerbread decorations I bought for him to hang on the tree last year….which he steadfastly devoured as soon as they were up. Chuffed he remembered his present from his Aunty Bee, I am on the search for more gingerbread decorations, I think we have ourselves a tradition. This entry is for Oli!

  7. How gorgeous! Thanks for such a delightful giveaway. I certainly have a soft spot for La Madre fruit buns, so would love to try some of their Christmas treats!
