They’re all amazing – my personal faves are the passionfruit, raspberry and the chocolate – apparently the honey and nougat is also delish.

Hi Joyce, I’ve been there a few times and still rate it as one of the best places in Melbourne for risotto. Served in a thin layer over a flat plate, their risotto is beautifully wet without being runny or gluggy. Try the mixed wild mushroom dish, or the sweeter pumpkin and amaretti. Delicious!

Hi Gabby, thanks for the tip – I will definitely try Tutto Bene over the summer. I hear that Tutto Bene also does great risotto – have you tried it?

Also on the must-try list is Tutto Bene’s Gelateria at Southgate. Chef Simon Humble studied the art of gelato in Italy, and the proof is in the eating. For the traditionalist, try the lemoncello. For the truly decadent, try the tiramisu.

oh no – you missed Gelobar! It’s the best in Melb in my opinion, plus in on Lygon St so you didn’t miss it by much (it’s up the northern, Brunswick East end). make sure you go check it out soon!
