Everything in Melbourne this week is leading to one big horserace on Tuesday. Me? I’ll probably be in front of the computer on Cup Day, coding and cursing….because my friends and I will soon be launching BNE: HOT OR NOT - The decisive guide to Brisbane. That’s right folks, if you’re heading to the Sunshine State you’ll soon be able to find out what’s HOT or NOT in Brisbane/Brisvegas/Brisneyland.
Anyway, back to Melbourne for now. A slow news week for me:
- ‘Style After Dark’, South Melbourne’s night markets on Thursday 5 November (and every Thursday until 26 November);
- Pop-up cinema Speakeasy Cinema is showing Beautiful Losers as part of independent arts festival Anode 2009 on Friday 6 November; and
- Checking out Michael Winterbottom’s new film Genova starring Colin Firth.
